How long do oak trees live?
The length of time that an oak tree lives varies from tree to tree. Some of the longer lived oaks can survive up to 600 years. Other shorter lived varieties live only about 80 years.
How long do apple trees live?
Apple trees are generally shorter-lived than some of the other trees on this list. At best, an apple tree that has been properly cared for will live 50-80 years. There are occasional exceptions to this rule, with some older apple trees living for centuries.
How long do pine trees live?

What is the longest lived tree?
The oldest named tree in the world is Methuselah, a 4,845 year old Great Basin bristlecone pine. In 2013, another bristlecone pine was discovered to be slightly older, but it has not yet been given a name.
What is the shorest lived tree?
Fruiting trees tend to have the shortest lifespan, and the shortest among them is the peach tree. Peach trees generally live for between 10 and 15 years.
