These Divers Caught Footage Of An Earthquake Rocking The Sea Floor. It's incredible!
In April, back-to-back earthquakes caused buildings to crack and landslides to block roads on a Philippines resort province, forcing residents to be evacuated. Officials stated that the first quake was a 5.6 on the Richter scale, then not too long after had a 6 on the scale, pushing people out of their homes. There was no reports of injuries, but a couple divers managed to capture an unreal sight.
"Our tourists left out of fear they may be affected by the earthquakes," Mayor Noel Luistro of Mabini, which is popular for diving and snorkeling, told DZMM radio network. "I need to declare a state of calamity."
But during this fiasco, a group of divers were able to keep their camera rolling while this tectonic shift occurred, leaving without any injuries.
"It felt like there was a huge propeller of a big boat turning around directly above us, we heard underwater the trembling of rocks under the ground and we felt the shock wave, it hurt our ears, feeling heavy breathing and sudden changes in pressure," the filmer, Jan Paul Rodriguez told Newsflare.
Adding, "The seabed pumped up and down immediately followed by a strong shaking of the ground and small rocks falling."
The Philippines lay on the “Ring of Fire”, a major area in the Pacific Ocean were a 90 percent of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions occur. The post These Divers Caught Footage Of An Earthquake Rocking The Sea Floor. It's incredible! appeared first on tentree.
