At tentree, we use the term “seaforestation” to describe our underwater initiatives, which include planting kelp and restoring coral reefs. These efforts bring the benefits of tree planting to the ocean. Kelp forests and coral reefs provide rich and diverse habitats for a wide variety of marine life. Like their land-based counterparts, kelp forests capture large volumes of carbon through photosynthesis and coral reefs support 25% of all marine species.

From Now Until Dec. 3rd, Every Order Funds Beehives in Kenya
At tentree, every item plants trees — always. But did you know? On top of pollination, beekeeping creates lasting jobs in the communities where we plant, helping us keep the impact alive long after the trees are in the ground. That's why this Green Friday, we're planting trees and supporting the bees.
