Because of my larger than normal quads, I opted to buy two pairs in large instead of medium. The fit would have probably been perfect with medium, but the large is still fine; it's a little big / baggy, but that's to be expected (I wasn't able to exchange because it was a final sale). I like the tapered fit, and the pants are what I hoped they would be like! The pants will sag if you have heavy objects in your pocket though, so keep that in mind.
