The sweater does run large, but in a flattering, comfortable way! The inside is so soft and it is quite a warm sweater depsite being not so heavy in weight. I ordered my regular size and the sweater is not hanging off my shoulders but rather just has extra looseness in the arms and body to allow for less restricted movement and more potential for layering. If you are hoping for a tight fit you'll likely have to size down a couple sizes - but know that if you order in your regular size you are in for a nice, loose hug from a warm, soft sweater!
